$45 (Renewal) $60 (Initial Course) This Basic Life Support course is approved by the American Heart Association. In this classroom-based course, healthcare professionals learn how to recognize several life-threatening emergencies how to provide CPR to victims of all ages how to use an AED and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner At the conclusion of this 5-hour course, students will be tested according to the American Heart Association guidelines and standards. The certification is good for two (2) years. Students must be in attendance for all five (5) hours of the course in order to receive credentials through the American Heart Association.
